Description
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, initially a lightweight day fighter for the U.S. Air Force, has transformed into a versatile all-weather multirole aircraft. Its inaugural flight was in December 1973, followed by Air Force delivery in 1978. Notably, the F-16 was the first U.S. fighter to feature a fly-by-wire flight control system, granting it unparalleled maneuvering capabilities.
Doug Kinsley created Aviation Illustrations in 1989. Having drawn airplanes since he was a young boy with no formal art training, his love of airplanes has enabled him to draw in such detail that one would have to take a second look. Each drawing is thoroughly researched to insure historical accuracy with unmated detail often taking up to 500 hours to complete.
