C-17A Wright Patterson Diecast Model

This 1:200 scale die-cast model featuring Wright-Patterson tail marking, measures 10.5" in length with a 10.25" wingspan and showcases an authentic paint scheme, finely etched panel lines, and pad-printed decals. It comes fully assembled and painted, featuring pre-installed landing gear with rolling wheels, an opening cargo door, and a display stand for an in-flight presentation.

First deployed in 1993, the C-17 Globemaster III is a powerhouse of military transport, capable of carrying 102 troops or up to 170,900 lbs of cargo. Designed for long-haul missions, it boasts a non-stop range of 6,200 miles, with the ability to refuel mid-flight via aircraft like the KC-135 for extended operations. With a wingspan of 170 feet and four F-117-100 engines delivering a combined 160,000 lbs of thrust, the C-17 can execute near-vertical takeoffs. It reaches speeds over 500 mph, altitudes of 45,000 feet, and has a maximum takeoff weight exceeding 580,000 lbs.
