14th Air Force Pin

In more recent history, the 14th Air Force became part of Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), headquartered at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, and was responsible for space operations, including satellite control, missile warning, and space launch operations.
In 2019, its space-related mission was absorbed into the newly established U.S. Space Force, and the 14th Air Force was redesignated as Space Operations Command (SpOC West) and no longer operates as an independent numbered air force.
