B-29A Enola Gay & Bockscar Model Kit

The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is an American four-engined propeller-driven heavy bomber designed by Boeing and flown primarily by the United States during World War II and the Korean War. The B-29 Superfortress was the most technologically advanced—and complex—aircraft of World War II. It required the manufacturing capabilities of the entire nation to produce.

This is Academy Plastics model kit number 12528, the USAAF B-29A "Enola Gay & Bockscar" model kit in 1/72 scale. This kit includes choice of two markings, either "Enola Gay" or "Bockscar", it has an accurate, finely engraved cockpit interior & bomb bay. The panel lines are accurately detailed and include rivets. "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" bombs are both included. This kit is the 2015 rebox version, which updated packaging as well as the included decals.
