The 20th Air Force holds a unique and powerful place in U.S. Air Force history—most notably as the command responsible for the strategic bombing of Japan during World War II, including the atomic bomb missions, and today as the nuclear deterrence arm of the U.S. Air Force.
An enameled lapel pin that is gold-plated brass and measures approximately 1 inch across shows the 20th Air Force emblem.
