Kinsley SR-71 11x19 Matted Print

$25.95
SKU: 100907

Description

The SR-71 Blackbird, a renowned reconnaissance aircraft, is an engineering marvel known for its remarkable speed and altitude capabilities. With a sleek, elongated fuselage and forward-swept wings, it's instantly recognizable. The aircraft's heat-resistant black paint was designed to withstand extreme temperatures generated during high-speed flight. It measures around 107 feet in length and boasts a wingspan of approximately 55 feet.
What truly distinguishes the SR-71 is its astounding performance. It can reach speeds of Mach 3.2, over 2,000 miles per hour, making it nearly untouchable in its prime. The SR-71 can attain altitudes of up to 85,000 feet, placing it far beyond the reach of most adversaries.

Doug Kinsley created Aviation Illustrations in 1989. Having drawn airplanes since he was a young boy with no formal art training, his love of airplanes has enabled him to draw in such detail that one would have to take a second look. Each drawing is thoroughly researched to insure historical accuracy with unmated detail often taking up to 500 hours to complete.
