Description

The U.S. Air Force Aerospace Defense Command (ADC) was a major command focused on defending North America from air and space threats, primarily during the Cold War. Established in 1946, ADC managed radar networks, interceptor aircraft, and missile defense systems to detect and counter potential attacks, particularly from Soviet bombers and missiles. It played a critical role in maintaining air sovereignty and ensuring continental defense. In 1980, ADC's responsibilities were merged into other commands as part of a restructuring of the U.S. Air Force's defense strategy.

Each pin is approximately 1 1/8" in size, with 2 prongs on the back for use with the two included butterfly clasps backs.
