USAAF B-25B Model Kit

US Army Air Force B-25B 1/48 scale model by Academy. This kit is the special 80th Anniversary Battle of Midway version, kit number 12336. Includes decals of different bomber nose art so that the finished model can be completed in different ways as desired. The North American B-25 Mitchell is a medium bomber which was introduced in 1941 and named after Brigadier General William Mitchell. The B-25 served in every theater during WWII and after the war many remained in service. Nearly 10,0000 B-25's were built, with many variants. The B-25 was considered a safe aircraft to fly, and it could withstand a great deal of punishment during combat.
