P-38 Model Kit

P-38, also called Lightning, fighter and fighter-bomber was employed by the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. It served in roles as a bomber escort, a tactical bomber, and a photo-reconnaissance platform.

This is the Academy P-38 plastic model kit number 12282. It features highly detailed interior & landing gear compartment, fully engraged panel lines, and realistic P.V.C tires. This kit can be built as a P-38J, P-38J Droopsnoot, P-38L Pathfinder, or F-5E photo recon. 1:48 scale, intended for modelers age 14 and up.
