Recreate the legendary WWI aircraft of Manfred Von Richthofen, famously known as the “Red Baron,” with this stunning model of the Fokker Dr.I Triplane. Recognized for its distinctive crimson color, this tri-wing fighter earned Richthofen his reputation as the ‘Red Devil’ among French forces for its superior maneuverability in dogfights on the Western Front.
Metal Earth models are crafted from high-quality steel sheets, with each kit offering incredible detail and precision. Each model includes parts cut from one or more 4” square steel sheets, along with easy-to-follow instructions. No glue or solder is needed—simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through the matching connection points to assemble.
This model kit comes with 2 sheets of parts, a moderate assembly difficulty, and assembles to a striking size of 3.22"L x 4.1"W x 1.88"H. Ideal for ages 14 and up, it’s a must-have for history enthusiasts and model builders looking to bring this iconic aircraft to life.
