Description

Build a tribute to space exploration with this model of the Space Shuttle Discovery, NASA's third orbiter. First launched on August 30, 1984, Discovery served for over 27 years, playing a key role in monumental missions, including work on the International Space Station and carrying the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit.

Metal Earth models are crafted from high-quality steel sheets, with each kit offering incredible detail and precision. Each model includes parts cut from one or more 4” square steel sheets, along with easy-to-follow instructions. No glue or solder is needed—simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through the matching connection points to assemble.

This kit includes 2 sheets of parts and assembles to a finished size of 4.5"L x 2.8"W x 2.3"H. With a moderate difficulty level, it's ideal for space enthusiasts ages 14 and up, capturing the legacy of one of NASA's most accomplished shuttles.
