Description
The North American B-25 Mitchelle was classified as a twin engine medium bomber and named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation and was first flown in the late 1930's. The B-25 served admirably in all theaters of operation throughout WWII but the majority of B-25's flew in the Pacific Theater.
Doug Kinsley created Aviation Illustrations in 1989. Having drawn airplanes since he was a young boy with no formal art training, his love of airplanes has enabled him to draw in such detail that one would have to take a second look. Each drawing is thoroughly researched to insure historical accuracy with unmated detail often taking up to 500 hours to complete.
