The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multirole fighter jet developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) in the 1970s. Known for its agility, versatility, and advanced avionics, the F-16 has been widely adopted by air forces around the world. It features a frameless bubble canopy for better visibility, a side-mounted control stick for ease of maneuvering, and a powerful engine capable of speeds over Mach 2. Initially designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into an all-weather multirole aircraft. The F-16 remains a critical component of many nations' air defense and offensive capabilities.
